About this event

***As of 11/13/2024***
We greatly need 3-4 people for our fun 5 days in Winthrop over New Years. We had 3 unexpected cancellations for medical reasons and are in dire need of filling out the trip.

We are staying at the River Run Inn from Dec 30th - Jan 3rd and the snow is predicted to be good. Winthrop offers all levels of groomed trails from flat through the valley to more advanced in the hills. The guest house with its view of woods and river houses up to 13. We do group dinners with breakfasts and lunches on your own. It is a fun group with the likelyhood of an evening Scrabble game. Methowtrails.org has info on the ski trails and pass costs which have been very reasonable in the past.

Cost is $3,803 divided by 11-13 people. There is a $50 deposit.

Trip Details:
--Once again the Washington Ski Touring Club is returning to the Methow for a 5 day trip from December 30th to Jan 3rd (four nights). As in prior years we are staying at the River Run Inn in Winthrop. Their "guest house", which is on the Methow River, has beds for 11-13 people depending on how the queen beds are used. The guest house has a large kitchen and living room area on the ground floor with a large table for group dinners (breakfast and lunches are on your own). This faces out to the woods and river for relaxation when not skiing.

--Costs is $3803.80 divided between 11-13 people. Rooms vary from small rooms with two single beds to larger rooms with a queen bed, two of which have a private bathroom.

--Winthrop has the largest groomed cross country ski trail system in North America. Methowtrails.org has more info on this including ski pass costs.

--To secure a spot on this trip email me at moorerobin238@gmail.com and, if still room, I will require a $50 deposit.
